Something blogtastic is going to happen. Well, it is not entirely blogtastic, with it is blogworthy. I have some really good friends, who for some time now have been preparing for a journey that promised to take them to unknown places on as yet undiscovered roads on the way to untold adventures and excitement.
The blogcellent part of all this is that they are planning on documenting their travels by way of a blog. They have also asked my help in this, so I am testing something out for them with this. Ready for the test? Here goes…

I am thinking of developing a new theme for phpBB. Well, not so much for the phpBB community, but for the DevNet community. And I am looking at making the entire thing CSS driven. Not that I am not a fan of tabular designs (** [cough] tables suck [/cough]**) but I think that the speed at which the site renders might be improved if the layout of the markup was cleaner than that mess of tables. Of course, that is just me.
You might wonder why I want to take this project on. Well, me too. Heck, I have so many things in the works right now, I can’t remember my own name (which is why I made a web site of it, so I can bookmark it and not have to remember it). In fact, I can’t even remember how to be a husband the right way, but that is for a different post at a later date 
.
Anyway, as I decided the other day that I want to do this, I thought for a minute what I have in the works. Let’s see, what was it again?

So as you can see, I am a little busy. But I really want a new theme at PHPDN. So lets see if I can do this.
I added a calendar to my blog. Not really for any other reason that because I could. It looks sorta neat, I think.
Anyway, behold the beauty that is the calendar…
So I have been toying with the idea of setting up my blog on its own domain. A few months ago, when I was setting up my online resume, I thought it would be even more important. So, for the last couple of days I have been converting my old blog over to my new one here. I have also decided to keep my resume up for the time being, although I am not pursuing a career change at the moment.
I have also done away with the theme that I was using before in favor of this beauty you see here. I have developed this one myself. It is titled Cabernet Gold and I am quite proud of it. There are a few kinks to work out, but overall I thinks it pretty so I am keeping it. Enjoy!
I am planning on taking up a more active role in posting here as well. I have a lot to talk about, but I have not really pushed much to get it out. Seeing as the best therapy is to speak of things, I figured I would would therpize myself by writing. We’ll see how that goes.
