Sometimes things seem to go your way. Sometimes not.
Take, for example, the story a guy that until now thought he had everything going for him. His new server was running, his clients were all moved over on to it. Yesterday he even FTP’ed stuff to the new server. Then today, he tries to FTP in to the server and B-A-M (not in an Emeril Lagasse sort of way either) the freaking FTP server is not responding. Add another B-A-M when the SSH server decides it wants to take 30 hours to authenticate a user. Crap, what gives?!?!?!?!
Now I am stuck in limbo land. It is my fault really, but still, I need to be catered to. I have no idea how to make the vsFTPd server work. CPPlus was handling that for me. Now their website won’t even load. I left a message for the domain owner, so we’ll see what comes of it. But doggoneit, I want this to work so bad.
Well, enough belly-aching for now. Once its all better and I run around the house with Rocky hands aloft, I will post back what a stud I am for making it all work and will then begin posting about things that folks actually care about. Like me.
