Back to reality

Man, reality can really suck if you are not prepared for it.
We got back from Louisiana yesterday. Today, the living room is thrashed, the kitchen is thrashed, there is laundry everywhere, my kids are everywhere… it is totally home. It was a lazy today, mostly spent trying to get some of the loose ends tied up after the trip and getting some posts entered from the trip. I have up to day three entered so far, and I am working on getting the others finished. They are all started, but they need to be completed (including pictures). Hopefully I can get that done tomorrow night (or Tuesday by the latest).
Anyway, the weather was beautiful today. So I had to barbecue. It just made sense. Burgers and mushrooms and Coke, oh my! It was great. Then we got ready for bed, put the kids down and Sandi and I began watching ‘Along Came Polly’ with Ben Stiller and Jennifer Aniston. Let me tell you, it is probably not a good idea to watch that movie with your wife if your wife doesn’t like seeing Jennifer Aniston in short shorts and a tank top. That was pretty much my queue to get ready for night-night. Which I did. Alone.
Anyway, enough reality for tonight. I am sure there will be more tomorrow.
