Ouch, Monday’s can hurt

Today was a back to work day. I actually welcomed the day today since I have been away from coding for a while now. It was nice getting back into the swing of things, getting my hands dirty on some code, working on the framework for the public website at work, playing with database stuff, yadda yadda.
I do have to admit, it would have been nice to have had a day or two more off to recover, but all in all, the vacation was worth it and being home has been worth it (except for the sleeping alone part - that was a very nice side effect of life in Louisiana waking up next to my wife every morning). But the dry air is nice and the weather is nice, so it is pretty hard to complain. Besides, after four and a half years, what is one more night.
I have so much stuff still left to do. I have pictures to upload, blog posts to finish, frameworks to continue work on… there is a bit to do. But I can hack. At least I tell myself as much.

The streak ends 3 days short of two weeks. Oh well, I guess home is home.
