Am I getting unfootballized?
Tonight is Monday night. You know what that means? You got it. MNF... Monday Night Football.
The funny thing is that I made it through almost the entire day yesterday without thinking about football. When I did think about football it was really only to grab a score or two. I did try to catch the last few minutes of the New England game on nfl.com. And it looked like it was a good game.
Now I am thinking though, of all the seasons to not watch any football, why this season? This season saw the first game between two 8-0 team when New England faced off against Indianapolis. We are now looking at one undefeated team (New England at 11-0), two 10-1 teams (Dallas and Green Bay) and a 9-2 team (Indianapolis). What a great year of football.
Even better, this weekend, Green Bay meets up with Dallas for an NFC clash of the titans akin to that Indy/New England match up a few weeks ago.
I think this is going to be a crazy football season from here on out. I cannot wait for the playoffs. If I think the season is this good now, I can just imagine what the playoffs will be like.
... OK, so maybe I am not getting unfootballized like I thought...
