New theme and Internet Explorer 6

No, I am not going to support it.

IE6 is the bane of every developer's existence and I for one am tired of supporting such a piece of carp application. It did everything wrong and even spawned some of that in it's descendant, Internet Explorer 7.

Microsoft should know better than to put something that carppy out to the public. Of course, to their credit, when IE6 hit the market it was the baddest things since the double meat extra large steak sandwich at Quiznos. But the web has evolved.

Other browsers have been able to put out consistently strong products with extraordinary rendering capabilities (standards anyone?). And IE stood at 6 for almost ten years. Anyway, to get back to the original point of all this ranting...

This theme, this beautiful chocolaty theme, does not render properly in Internet Explorer 6. And I could give a rat's ass. Unless someone is paying me to make something work in IE6, I am not going to trouble myself to make it work.

And if this bothers you, go out and download Mozilla Firefox, the Opera browser or the Safari browser. This theme renders correctly in every one of these browsers.

But if you are hellbent on using Internet Explorer, at least upgrade to IE7. It still sucks, just not as bad. And this theme renders without a hitch in it.

Until then, please stop using any Microsoft browser. They all suck. They will all continue to suck. M$ cares nothing at all about web standards and as such they consistently put out poor products that can easily be outdone by their open-source "slash" free counterparts. That is my $0.02.

And since this is my blog the few pennies I put into it are gladly accepted. Now if I could just find out how to destroy Internet Explorer forever...
