Yes folks, I’m still alive

You know it's been a long time since you've blogged when your brother and nephew jam you on not blogging. Or when a friend of yours sends you daily instant messages reminding you to blog (thanks Charles, I think I'm starting to understand). I know you've missed me. And I'm sorry to keep you waiting.

For those of you that know me in real life you know that things have been rough for the past few months. Finances, marriage, parenting, work... all of the regular daily events in life have been occupying my time and attention (as rightly they should) and leaving me with precious little time for anything else. Looking back on it, I think that it has been almost two months since I have posted something new. Wow, I haven't been away that long ever.

Truth be told, I have missed blogging quite a bit. Confusingly enough however, I have been really indifferent, almost to the point of apathy, toward a lot of things for the last few months. So while I have missed posting my rants, thoughts and nags I haven't really wanted to take the time to put out anything new. But I'm thinking it's about time I snapped out of this funk and got back to the good ol' days of voicing my opinions and making people mad. Or at the very least letting all three readers of my blog know I'm alive a little more frequently than every couple of months.

So hopefully I will have all sorts of cool crap to share with you. I probably won't, but a guy can hope, right?

And I had no idea that my family read this thing. Do I need to start watching out for what I say now?
